SI Advisors Pte Ltd is a financial/ capital advisory firm, headquartered in Singapore. The company helps its clients with a whole gamut of financial advisory services including identifying funding sources, capital management and mergers and acquisitions.
The company is founded by Mr.Anil Chawla, the former CEO of DE Shaw India which led with tremendous success for over 6 years between 2006 and 2012. During his stint with DE Shaw, Anil Chawla paved the way for several major deals including the joint venture with Mukesh Ambani’s Reliance for the latter’s foray into the financial services sector. Prior to leading DE Shaw in India, Anil Chawla was the CEO of GE Commercial Finance in India for a 10-year period between 1996-2006. Anil Chawla was selected among the hottest young executives by Business Today in 2002.
Mr.Anil Chawla of SI Advisors is again in the news in 2015 for the rumoured bid for GE Capital’s loan book for $400 million. If this deal goes ahead as speculated in the Indian media, it will be another huge feather in the cap of Mr.Chawla who has built a reputation of making huge successful deals.
