BERG Awards for Real Estate given in Singapore
The Business Excellence and Research Group (BERG) recently gave out its inaugural BERG Awards for Real Estate at the Raffles Town Club in Singapore. The awards recognised several leading players from the real estate sector in India, including property developers and architects.
The Awards function also saw BERG honouring eminent Indian architect Hafeez Contractor with a lifetime achievement award for his enormous contribution to architecture in India and transforming the landscape of several cities in the country, including the commercial capital Mumbai. Mr.Contractor received the award in absentia.
“We are extremely happy with the interest that the BERG Awards generated among the Indian real estate community in its very first year. Technology and innovation will play a critical role as India goes about managing its rapidly urbanising population. BERG’s efforts will be to build on this platform and take it to the next level,” said Mr.Thomas McMahon of the BERG Advisory Board.
