ACES Awards 2015 winners felicitated in Singapore
The Asia Corporate Excellence & Sustainability Awards (ACES) felicitated the winners of its annual award in Singapore on November 05 during a gala dinner. The two-year old ACES Awards recognise and honor companies that have carried out significant corporate social responsibility (CSR) campaigns or organisations that have implemented policies and structures tht generate returns beyond financial gain.
Companies from Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines and India were among the winners of the awards who were chosen from over 130 nominations. Indonesian companies won four awards on the night. Pt.Hero Supermarket Tbk was named the Community Care Company of the Year Award for its CSR programmes that targeted improvement of education, community health, economic empowerment and nurturing the environment of Indonesia and its peoples. Meanwhile, Pt.Great Giant Pineapple was one of the three Top Green Companies in Asia, while Pt.Trakindo Utama was one of the five Top Community Care companies in Asia.
Grace Liu, Co-founder and Managing Director of East Wellspun Industries (S) Pte Ltd was the only female to join the ranks of the Top Outstanding Leaders in Asia. SPi Global from the Philippines won the award for the Top Company to Work for, while Ivan Teh, CEO & Managing Director of Fusionex International plc won the Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award. Well-known entrepreneur from Singapore, Mr.Douglas Foo of Sakae Holdings Ltd won the Entrepreneur of the Year Award.
The ACES Awards are organised by Malaysia-based MORS Group.
